Woooohooo....best day ever! We had so much fun! The three of us got up early Sunday morning after sleeping, i swear like 14 hours on saturday (the rain in the jungle totally sucks you in...). We hiked up to the El Bejuco waterfall through the jungle! It was breathtaking!
Everywhere you look there is life...something is growing and thriving...it's really magical!
We had to cross a swing bridge & hike a ways up to the Cascada!

Then we got back had lunch and Chad & I headed over to the white water rafting people....This is something i've wanted to do for several years and let me tell you it was nuts...scary, adrenaline pumping, jumping of rocks and cliffs, almost slipping off one rock...ooops....and they say the river can get up to a class V!! Yikes! We were at about class III....loved it!
most of our pictures were taken with a waterproof camera that has yet to be developed...pretty sure we got some snazzy pics!!
soooo pretty much by the end of the day our old bodies were pretty exhausted.....It was really exhilarating for me because I felt I totally challenged myself and overcame a lot of fears.... :)
ooooooooh and i have a bug bite count going: 53
i was a little restless on the front of the boat the other day and started counting....i'll keep ya updated!
