We held out for a whopping 7 weeks before telling the parents. (We didn't know for the first 4 weeks) and then waited another 7 before announcing it. See it was my dads 60th and well we thought that would be the perfect time to tell.
So Jen and I tie-dyed a onesie and stuck a woodstock button on it and put it at the bottom of the bag with the rest of his birthday presents. Chad and I hung out with him and my mom all day Saturday (July 9th) without mentioning a word... By the time we got to the party @ 7:00pm i was about to bust. Finally he opened presents and got to ours...took his sweet time and my heart was about to bust out.... He got to the onesie and thought it was tie-dye briefs...HA! Then he realized!! Got it all on video. Pretty cool!

On Sunday we drove to Chad's parents to tell them the big news...By this point we could not hold this secret another moment. Got there at like 9:00AM and basically threw the bag with the pirate onesie we got them at them!!!

Anyway it was such a fun weekend and it's so nice to be secret free!!! The family knows, friends know and we couldn't be happier. :)
and ahem.......some crazy YaYa couldn't be happier either!!! So damn happy!!!
